The vivid SolarMAX™ HD IPS touch screen makes it possible to see every nuance of a chart, as well as its structure and the bottom contours, with pinpoint accuracy. The high-definition screen can be seen from any direction, even in broad daylight, and even with polarized sunglasses on. Next-gen C-MAP® DISCOVER XTM marine-optimized charts, custom-made for NSX, provide a new perspective to familiar map data by way of an intuitive new design and regular chart updates. Marine-specific C-MAP Reveal X maps with coastal, seabed, and inland Shaded Relief are also supported in NSX.
Detailed contour lines down to 1 foot are shown accurately on C-MAP charts’ High-Resolution Bathymetry and fully-featured Vector Charts. Our quickest ever Autorouting and forecasts for tidal and current conditions will let you plan and track your journey with precision. A new Map Inspection tool provides instant access to a wealth of data, including position, POI, tide, channel, and more with a single tap.
On or off the water, the Simrad Companion App is a convenient extension of your NSX, providing access to the same chart experiences and data. You may use the app in conjunction with your NSX to map out routes, check previously logged Tracks, and mark Waypoints.
